On the 18th of March 2018, during a visit to London for official duties, Dr. Arc O.O. Aluko, PhD, who served as the Rector of FPI, honored us, the Alumni YK Chapter, with a courtesy visit. The visit culminated in a memorable dinner at the O2 Restaurant, marking the inception of our 40th-anniversary celebrations.

At this momentous dinner, Dr. Ogunfemi initiated a conversation by inquiring about the plans for celebrating the 40th anniversary in two years' time. The discussion evolved as our pioneer President, Aare Kola Aregbe, delved into strategic planning, encompassing the present, the institution's four-decade history, and its envisioned future for the next two decades.

Among the distinguished guests in attendance were Arc O.O. Aluko, Dr. Jide Shoyemi (a dedicated lecturer at FPI currently engaged in a research program), Aare Kola Aregbe, Pastor Alaba, Mrs. B. Afolabi, Olori Kemi, Alhaji T. Sanni, Engineer Oduneye, Dr. Toksy Ogunfemi, Mrs. Tokunboh, and other family members.
